Fixed with a Paper Clip!

Fueled up the Jensen-Healey and drove home. Parked the car and then attempted to start it up again. No spark. Curious, it has a Pertronix ignition system that has been most reliable. Checking voltage at coil shows that it should start. Oh, wait what about the ballast resistor? That is in line to take up voltage upon starting with conventional a points system. Maybe it’s not needed when an electronic ignition is in place. Had a paperclip in the cubby and connected the two leads together that normally go to the ballast resistor. Car instantly started. Conclusion: isolate the ballast resistor when using the Pertronix module and coil system. However, keep it mounted on the bulkhead just in case you want to return the car to conventional points. Of course, I removed the paperclip and added a male/female plug in that location.
